What Tae Kwon Do means to me:

I have been in Tae Kwon Do for almost 4 years. I started because I thought that it would be fun and I might learn some things, and I did. I also went because my mom and dad wanted me to. I really like it, you make and meet new friends and it teaches you stuff, like being polite and obeying your parents and the tenets of Tae Kwon Do. My instructors are very nice and teach me a lot of new stuff. I am never going to quit! My goal of Tae Kwon Do is to be a black belt. Sometimes I don't want to go, but when I go and work out I'm glad I came! Someday I would like to teach my own class and help others. Tae Kwon Do has made me a stronger person and I have a lot more self-confidence. I like to teach basic movements. I also enjoy doing forms with other belt levels. I love doing tournaments; board breaking is my favorite event. I also find it interesting to watch and compete against other branches; I have a ton of medals! Since being in Tae Kwon Do I have learned quite a bit about the history of Korea like the meanings of the Hyungs. I want to thank Master Sledge for spending almost 4 years teaching me. He is very patient and nice and lets us have fun. He is always willing to stay after class and help me with forms, one steps and self-defense. I also want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Master Wells for letting me test and train at Martial Arts America. They are always helping me get ready to test and I have learned so much from both of them. All of the black belts are very helpful during class and always willing to do forms with me before and after class. If it weren't for everyone helping me I would not be testing for my black belt. Thanks again for everyone's help and look forward to becoming a black belt so I can help other people the way everyone has helped me.
