Bob Dullea

I started Tae Kwon Do with two main objectives in mind. First to learn how to better to defend myself and secondly to stay physically fit.  After about a month of training, I couldn’t get enough of it. I realized this was something that I was good at and really enjoyed working and training every day to become better martial artist. There were 18 people that had started within the month that I had begun. By the end of the first 6 months, there were only 3.  By the time I had reached my first year, I was the only one left. The training was intense, but it needed to be in order to become a black belt.
I have to honestly say that joining Jung’s Tae Kwon Do was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. And I would not change it for the world. It has affected my life in so many positive ways personally and professionally. The friendships that I have made and the people I had met, has been incredible. They are friendships and memories that have endured and will last a life time.
Tae Kwon Do was truly an adventure, one that always seemed to be full of surprises. Whether it would be running out in the snow in the winter time, or going out into the public doing demonstrations at different places. I have been very privileged to have seen it all grow from a very small school on Mount Vernon Road into the New Life Fitness Center.  And to be able to expand at multiple locations and still continues  to grow.  To be recognized as one of the pioneers of this growth of Tae Kwon Do in this area is an honor.
