Let it be known to all that Martial Arts America
and Jungs Taekwondo has forever changed my life and family tree to thank Mr and
Mrs Wells and Mr Jung with all my heart for their efforts to help make this a
better world for all praise god. If someone told me years ago before I started
Martial Arts that i was going to be a blackbelt it would have been tough for me
to belive. So now I praise God that he led me to here and I will forevermore be
grateful. I have always loved the arts I suppose it has always been a part of
me. My mother has always been an artist she eventually went onward and earned
her Masters degree at Iowa State University in Art. I have been practicing the
art of Marine Aquatics ever since our oldest son Joseph was born 21 years.
Marine Aquatics the raisingand caring for saltwater life, fish and live coral
and other invertebrates these rank among the most strange and colorful of all
God had to have put some extra thought into doing that. Psalms33:6,7,8 by the
word of the lord were the heavens made and all of the host of them by the breath
of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the seas together as an heap he layeth
up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the lord let all the
inhabitants thereof stand in awe. This is so true everytime I see those
creatures I stand in awe of the beauty the lord has made. I do this work to help
preserve these creatures the lord has made for his enjoyment and use. The time
that I have spent as a Blackbelt has been a journey of learning to be positive
with attitude and approach students with humility and humbly show students the
positive side of things whenever possible. Teaching them to not give up and
focus on continuing until success! To see them succeed is a marvelous feeling.
Working with a student and watching and helping them accomplish the goal and
then seeing how that success changes them for the better is something they will
not soon forget. Joseph and Joshua our sons started Taekwondo soon after we
moved to our new home in Ankeny. Not long afterwards Connie my wonderful wife
started also. I went to watch them test at Martial Arts America. That was all it
took everything in my life did a 180 and so then I started Taekwondo also being
a whitebelt was very fun and difficult at the same time I just kept at it and
piece by piece I started to put things together so it started to make sense. Mr
Wells shows people that you do not have to follow the average he inspires you to
strive for what was thought of as the impossible becoming possible. If you are
willing to stand the course you can be an overcomer. Praise God I am an
overcomer! Now as a Blackbelt I love being able to teach the other students some
of what I have been taught You will see many students come and go and a few stay
the course. You can do it belive in yourself and God and nothing is imposible!
With each new form or new move there is a new challange to learn and ultimately
overcome! Three years ago I happened to be listening to the radio while working
like I always do I overheard this family suddenly scream they were debt free!
That turned out to be another turning point in my life another 180 u turn to
strive towards financial freedom! All of our lives we had always been in debt
thinking that was normal. During the months ahead I listened and learned all I
could find out about becoming debt free and learning to take care of money Gods
way. Then one day we found the Financial Peace University program at a discount
store that we could afford to purchase we then listened and learned how to set
up a budget and start to properly begin paying off debts from the smallest to
the largest. Doing this proved difficult at first but eventually became easier
after the second year we had cleared ourselves free of all loans and credit
cards except for our home and we have an emergency fund. Praise God that we do
because a recent storm tore our roof partly off and at least we were ready for
such a event and did not have to go and borrow money to do emergency repairs.
All of the repairs were eventually covered by our insurance and are now done
praise God that we had good insurance and that it was covered. My advise to
anyone with money troubles is to follow what we have done and learn to take care
of Gods money Gods way!
