What TaeKwonDo Means To Me

I started TaeKwonDo because it seemed like a very fun and exciting sport to be in. I got encouraged to be in it by some friends of mine. I learned that TaeKwonDo isn’t just about kicking, punching and fighting, but that TaeKwonDo is something you use in everyday life. TaeKwonDo teaches you to believe in yourself and never give up on yourself and to be courteous, respectful and to be honest. I enjoy being in TaeKwonDo because I have met new people and I can do things I could never do before TaeKwonDo, I think TaeKwonDo is one of the best sports there is. You learn how to defend yourself, how to be a better person, and have the knowledge to live a good life. I think TaeKwonDo has made me a better person and gave me more confidence to do things. TaeKwonDo is very important to me because when I walk inside the dojang I forget about all my problems and focus only about TaeKwonDo. TaeKwonDo is different from other sports because we are all united when one falls we all fall. The higher belts help the lower belts. TaeKwonDo has also helped me to be a better student at school. I think TaeKwonDo is a great opportunity and a great start for a successful life.
